We are a family owned and operated business for over 21 years, located in the heart of Amish country in Middlefield, Ohio.

Mervin started working for Firelands Marine at 18 years old. His hands on working knowledge led him to school to become a certified technician in both 2 stroke and 4 stroke marine motors. Most recently certified technician for Suzuki and Tohatsu motors. Mervin acquired Firelands Marine and today is known as Detweiler's Outdoors.

 

Our humble begins started with a 600 sq. ft. store and now we have expanded to 12,000 sq. ft. We have also expanded and continue to expand our retail store. Recently we have added a large selection of bass fishing gear from rods and reels along with tackle. We also added hunting gear with a selection of bows, crossbows, clothing, ammo and deer stands coming this fall.
